Miguel Hernandez

After earning a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M University in 2013, Miguel Hernandez began his career with a leading civil and structural engineering firm. In 2014, he transitioned to an adjusting firm as a risk engineer, specializing in structural and geotechnical aspects of the offshore energy sector. In 2018, he expanded his role to include loss adjusting, and in 2021, he was appointed Executive General Adjuster for Renewable Energy.

Miguel has extensive expertise in renewable energy insurance, including wind and solar claims, pre-risk engineering surveys, and structural and geotechnical engineering. His background also includes marine and offshore engineering, foundation analysis of offshore structures, and risk prevention and mitigation.

He holds a Property & Casualty Licensed Adjuster certification in the State of Texas and has completed GWO Working at Heights Training and BOSIET Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training.

Fluent in Spanish and English, Miguel also has elementary proficiency in French.
